Friday, Nov. 29th - 6-8pm San Carlos Square Bites from @thestationaery and tunes by DJ Luck Star It will be the first chance to pick up your NOCEAN Bingo card to explore, shop, and win in the NOCEAN neighborhood this holiday season. The rules: Between Nov. 29th to Dec 23rd, visit each of the nine shops and ask for their unique stamp on your Bingo card.* Once you’ve collected all the stamps, turn your completed card in at Stationæry’s Take-Away shop to be entered to win a fabulous set of prizes. Celebrate the Holiday Season on Monday, December 2nd at Jewell Park. Holiday Entertainment begins at 4:30 pm and the Holiday Tree Lighting is at 6:00 pm, followed by a special visit from Santa Claus and his elves!

Sunset Center hosts a children's Winter Art Workshop with local artist Marie-Clare Treseder Gorham. Arts & crafts include tree trimmings for kids to make leafy crowns, paper crafts for holiday ornaments, and more. All the ornaments will decorate Sunset Center's holiday tree for the season (or take home as many as you want!). Dec. 3 from 3:45-5:30 p.m. at Sunset Center. Devendorf Park on Ocean Avenue between Junipero and Mission, followed by the Carmel Plaza Holiday Open House. 3:30 p.m. Santa Claus will arrive via Fire Truck while the reindeer rest up for their big night and the Del Monte Brass will be there to add a festive air. 4-4:30 p.m. Menorah lighting Ceremony with plenty of gelt and dreidel spinning and singing. 4:30-5:30 p.m. Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony The Holiday Tree will be lit at 5:30 p.m. or very soon thereafter! After the tree is lit Carmel Plaza invites you to shop, mingle, and enjoy delicious small bites, festive warm drinks, face painting, kids activities, and visits with Santa and Martin the Magical Elf.

This early evening walking tour of Monterey’s historic adobes adorned in holiday décor surprises and delights visitors with welcoming, candle-lit luminarias leading the way to each building’s entrance.
